About us
The house
Villa Lugano is at Campolongo 3, in a quiet part of Rovinj with little traffic. You will know it by its pink façade and the Istrian stone around the windows. There are four apartments in the house, two on the ground floor and two upstairs, and each has its own entrance, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace or balcony. From the two upstairs you can see the sea.
There is a garden around the house, and you leave your car in our own parking area, right by the house, at no charge. The old town is about 800 metres away, so you will not even need the car in town.
Air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a safe are in every apartment, and you need not bring bed linen or towels.
Your hosts
We are the Biljecki family. We welcome our guests ourselves, which is why we ask you to let us know your arrival time in advance. We speak Croatian, English, German and Italian, so write or call in whichever language is easiest for you.
If you would like to go further than Rovinj, just say so. We can arrange a boat trip to Venice or the Brijuni islands, bike or car hire and, if you are flying in, a transfer from Pula airport, which is 36 km away.
The surroundings
The old town and the main promenade are about ten minutes on foot, roughly 800 metres. The sea is 700 metres from the house, and the nearest beach is Porton Biondi. A restaurant serving Mediterranean food is about 250 metres away, a grocery shop about 800, and the bus station roughly a kilometre.
For a rainy day there are the Rovinj Aquarium and the Batana Eco-Museum, both of which you can also reach on foot. If you have a car or a bike, the Monkodonja hill fort, 6 km from the house, and medieval Dvigrad, 19 km away, are worth the trip.

You will find the house rules further down this page. Children are welcome, but we have no cots or extra beds, so please choose an apartment by its number of sleeping places. The Studio Apartment with Sea View takes three guests, the others two.
